Using advanced science, the Aqualyx fat dissolving injection is designed to break down fat cell walls and release the fatty acid stored within, which can then be naturally removed by the body, achieving noticeable results. The Aqualyx product itself was not only developed by the highly reputable aesthetic surgeon Prof. Pasquale Motolese, but it also has the esteemed CE marking, meaning it meets all General Safety and Performance Requirements (GSPR).

What happens during an Aqualyx session?

During your session, a thin, flexible cannula will be used to inject the Aqualyx into the fat tissue in your chosen treatment area.

Does injecting Aqualyx hurt?

Aqualyx is a virtually pain-free treatment. This is because not only is it designed with a local anaesthetic, but the tissue it is injected into does not have much sensation.

How many Aqualyx sessions will I need?

Although the number of sessions needed will differ based on your desired results. Typically, between 3 to 5 treatments will be required, with 3 weeks between each treatment. This will always be discussed during your consultation.

Are there any side effects of Aqualyx?

After your treatment you may have slight redness, bruising and swelling where the Aqualyx has been injected. This should only last a few days.

What is the aftercare recommendations for Aqualyx?

After your sessions you should avoid applying products to the treatment area, taking anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen and physical exercise for five days. You should also ensure that the treatment area is not exposed to direct heat or extreme cold.

How long does it take to see Aqualyx results?

Clients should begin to notice Aqualyx results four to five weeks after their session. However, it is important to note that healthy eating and exercise will be necessary to achieve optimum results.

Fat Dissolving Using Celluform

Created to break down the fat cells in the subdermal layer of the skin (the tissue just under the surface), Celluform is ideal for removing small, precise areas of fat. Celluform works by liquifying the fat cells, which means that after your sessions they will be destroyed permanently.

As it is perfect for contouring, as well as improving skin elasticity, Celluform is popular for those looking to target a double chin or remove jowls. Not only this, but the solution is also fantastic at encouraging collagen production, helping to make the skin firmer.

Is the Celluform treatment painful?

To ensure that our clients are as comfortable as possible, we add a local anaesthetic to the Celluform solution and will happily apply a numbing cream to the treatment area if required. As a whole, Celluform is not a painful treatment. The most clients may feel is a slight discomfort.

How many Celluform treatments do I need?

Much like Aqualyx, there is no set number of Celluform sessions a client needs as this will differ based on how the body reacts to the injections and the chosen treatment area. Most areas of the body will need between 4 and 6 sessions, but the chin is often slightly less, with 3 being the most you are likely to need.

Are there any side effects of Celluform?

As Celluform causes an inflammatory reaction, it is likely that you will experience swelling across the treatment area. This will only last for around 5 days, and you are welcome to apply a cold compress to the area to help it subside. You may also experience redness and itching. However, this should ease after a few days and is nothing to worry about.

When can I expect to start seeing results from Celluform?

After around 3 weeks, you will start to see a difference in the appearance of the treatment area, with fatty deposits beginning to reduce. Particularly if you are having larger areas treated, it is likely to take up to 8 weeks for optimum results.
