Thread veins – or spider veins – are damaged veins and broken capillaries just below the skin.
Thread veins are extremely common in many men and women. They can be unsightly and make you feel very self-conscious.
As you age your skin loses collagen and becomes thinner, so when veins expand, they become visible through your skin. Prominent thread veins can be inherited, but they are often caused by long term sun exposure, pregnancy, rosacea, alcohol, smoking and standing for long periods.
This involves an injection of a solution (know as Fibrovein) into the blood vessel using a very fine needle. The lining of the blood vessel is irritated and gradually destroyed.
A number of veins can be treated in one session though some veins may need a second session. Sclerotherapy is not used on the face.
This proven technology uses Ndyag Laser to target smaller veins and make them instantly disappear. Ndyag can be used safely anywhere on the body. This laser treatment is also not affected by sun exposure which is why we have replaced it from the conventional IPL treatment.
The treated area may look slightly bruised and may even look worse for a few weeks before it looks better.
Our main priority is our clients, and we focus on going above and beyond to ensure that every treatment is of the highest quality and achieve customer satisfaction.

"I had quite a few nasal veins across the bottom of my nose and had 3 treatments to get rid of them. The results are amazing but the treatment did bring tears to my eyes whilst it was being done. Funny thing is you feel nothing at all straight after."
